Stargazing at Lake Powell can be an amazing experience, particularly out on a houseboat. Guests can find themselves away from the usual light pollution of the cities seeing more stars than they have ever seen. Up to 15,000 stars can be seen in the area and it is the perfect spot to watch a meteor shower.
Dark Skies
In 2018, Rainbow Bridge became designated as an International Dark Sky Place. Dark skies help maintain the circadian rhythm for wildlife which can have an affect on their ability to reproduce, sleep and protect themselves.
