Houseboating Info & Policies

Houseboat Service Fee: $169 per houseboat trip. The houseboat service fee is charged to cover the following items; 

• The pumping of the gray and black water-holding tanks
• The filling of the freshwater tanks
• The coiling and securement of all anchors and lines
• The replacement of cleaning supplies, boat chemicals, and trashcan liners
• The removal of all sand and debris from the boat
• The cleaning of all floors, windows, and counters
• The laundering of all linens, blankets and towels

Payment Policy: Fuel rental fee including taxes and fees is due at the time of booking. (Effective 1/1/22) Payment Policy: The full rental fee plus taxes and fees are due at the time of booking. Upon arrival, guests can choose to either pay the damage deposit or waiver of liability insurance. Houseboat reservation changes are subject to change fees ($100 to $600). Reservation changes are subject to current rates.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and a service fee will apply. If you need to cancel your reservation you may email LakePowell-CustomerService@Aramark.com with Houseboat Reservation Cancellation in the subject line. The date the email is received will be the day used to calculate service fees. You may also submit cancellations via US Postal Service to 1661 E. Camelback Rd, Ste 300, Phoenix, AZ 85016 and mark the envelope “Houseboat Cancellation”. The date the envelope is postmarked will be the date used to calculate the service fees.

Cancellation Service Fees will be a percentage of the rental rate without taxes and fees.

Change Policy: Houseboat reservation changes are subject to change fees. All reservation changes are subject to current rates and availability and may result in a higher reservation value.

Houseboat Protection Plan / Travel Insurance: We want your vacation to be worry and hassle-free. We strongly suggest the purchase of travel insurance to protect yourselves and your vacation investment. You may contact Travel Guard directly at www.travelguard.com or call them at 1-800-826-4919.

Waiver of Liability: Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas requires damage protection for all boat rentals. Read about the Waiver of Liability options.

Pet Policy:

• $32.00 per pet, per day, per vessel

Smoking: Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas houseboats feature smoke-free interiors. Ashtrays are provided for those guests who wish to smoke outside the cabin. Guests are encouraged to use the ashtrays rather than dispose of debris in the lake or on the shore.

Lodging Info & Policies

Check-In: 4:00 pm
Check-Out: 11:00 am

Payment Policy: The first-night stay is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due at the time of check-out. All rates are based on double occupancy. Additional adults over double occupancy are at an additional nightly fee. 

Cancellation Policy: Reservation cancel policies are rate specific and can be viewed by clicking on the rate name when availability returns. All cancellations made inside of the cancellation policy will forfeit the deposit taken.

Pet Policy: Pets are allowed in Traditional Rooms only with a $30.00 non-refundable fee required per pet, per night. This fee is collected at check-in. An excessive cleaning fee of $250.00 will be applied for any rooms that require deodorizing for cigarette/cigar smoke, excessive pet cleaning, or professional carpet cleaning. Pets must be on a leash at all times when outside the room. Pets should not be left unattended or tied up outside on the patio or balcony. Housekeepers will not clean the room if the pet is left inside unattended.

Smoking Policy: Smoking is not permitted in any lodge room or building. 

Taxes & Fees: Utility Pass-Through Fee & Infrastructure Program Development Fee - All lodging, tour, houseboat, and watercraft reservations are subject to local, state, and federal taxation... in addition to a nominal daily Utility Pass-Through Fee (Energy) and Infrastructure Program Development Fee.

Camping Info & Policies

Powerboat & Water Craft Info & Policies

Payment: Damage deposit is due at time of booking. The full rental fee is due upon arrival. 

Cancellation: Small watercraft must be canceled 72 hours or more prior to arrival to receive a full refund. The Weekender must be canceled 14 days or more prior to arrival to receive a full refund. All cancellations inside of the aforementioned times will forfeit the deposit paid.

Waiver of Liability: Optional waiver of liability is available upon check-in for an additional fee. 

Boat Tours Info & Policies

Check-In Time: Be sure to arrive in the lobby of Lake Powell Resorts 30 minutes prior to departure. Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

Depart: All boat tours depart from Wahweap Marina at Lake Powell Resort. 

Audio Set: Individual audio sets are included with every tour and are available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Mandarin, and Japanese.

Payment: Full payment for the tour will be processed at the time of booking. 

Cancellation: Tour seats must be canceled 24 hours prior to tour departure in order to receive a full refund. Canceling within 24 hours of tour departure will forfeit the value of the tickets. All cruises are subject to cancellation or consolidation by management 24 hours prior. To confirm your departure please call 24 hours in advance of your booking.

Smoking Policy: Smoking is not permitted while on board. 

Horseshoe Bend Rafting Trips Info & Policies

Check-In Time: Please arrive 1 hour prior to departure time.

Payment: Full payment will be processed at time of booking. 

Cancellation: Full refund minus a $10 per person processing fee for cancellations that meet the following criteria. Cancellations must be made 48 hours before the trip’s scheduled departure. Cancellations made within the 48 hour cancellation window and no-shows are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

Minimum Passenger Policy: We do require a 6 full-fare passengers to launch a Half-Day or Full-Day Trip. Should the minimum not be reached, the trip will be cancelled. Anyone already booked for the trip will receive a 100% refund and an opportunity to re-book for another trip. 

Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed on the Glen Canyon Float Trips
